Welcome to the people who provide practical solutions to environmental and renewable energy problems. "The Evans Family" have been water engineers for a long time and for the last 50 years we have been self-sufficient with energy from our own waterpower installation. The 'Oil Crisis' brought us many enquiries from people concerned about the future cost of energy, so we started to build a range of small water turbines for domestic and remote rural locations.

The range of equipment now covers outputs from as little as 200 watts to over 1 MW. They are suitable for falls ranging from less than one metre, up to several hundred metres. We also make the associated equipment including screeners, sluices, valves and controls systems. Innovative technology and our work in Developing Countries have won us several International Awards and the dissemination of this technology and its local manufacture is now our main activity.

Our objective over the last twenty years, has been to promote the practical use of small scale waterpower as one of the environmentally compatible technologies that offer an alternative to nuclear power. Rural development programmes, which include training, and consultancy, are becoming an increasingly important part of our work, and is based on practical experience of over eighty projects throughout the World.
